The original tiered pot, the Stacking Planter combines planter and saucer into one form. Lift out of the bottom ring to reveal a hidden saucer. The circular stoneware borrows inspiration from high voltage ceramic insulators on power lines.
The planters are made from dolomite by a multigenerational porcelain vendor in China. The material is fired at such a high temperature, making them impermeable to liquids, even unglazed. The interior has a clear glaze to keep dirt from staining them.
